Position Overview


We're looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Coordinator (ICC) who will be primarily responsible for ensuring that Earth Rated inventory levels are maintained and reflected in the ERP system. Beyond this, they ensure that the identification, conditions and quantities are consistently accurate and that our 3PL partners inventory is in sync with our ERP.

The responsibilities of the ICC include:
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy by monitoring, validating and tracking inventory moves associated with all operations processes
  • Investigating and escalating inventory discrepancies by striving to continuously refine procedures and processes to improve quality and accuracy
  • Scheduling, coordinating and performing planned cycle counts, count-near-zero, and physical counts in accordance with internal requirements
  • Investigating inventory variances, adjusting inventory records if necessary, and determining the root cause of the discrepancies
  • Coordinating damaged and defective product by ensuring any inventory changes are accounted for and properly processed
  • Reporting inventory control activity and performance results (ex. running reports for stagnant or obsolete products)
  • Suggesting inventory optimization for our 3PL partners
  • Responding to inventory related questions internally or from the customer including investigating customer claims
  • Following-up and monitoring inbound inventory receipts with 3PL
  • Support with creating and receiving transfer & purchase orders and inbound shipments within NetSuite
  • Reporting any inbound receipt discrepancies

Education or experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of inventory management (relevant work experience required)
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Working understanding of NetSuite (an asset)
